No. Tap play and you are in. The only reason to enter a phone number is to tie your wins to you instead of to the phone you are holding.
It is turned into a scrambled code on your phone and only that code is sent. The number itself is never stored anywhere, which is also why it cannot be recovered if you forget it. Your phone keeps the last four digits so you can jog your memory.
Open the sign-in box and tap "forgot your number" — it shows the last four digits of the number this phone last used.
